Meet Felicity the Mountain Hare. Felicity lives in a beautiful mound of heather in the Scottish Highlands. She is quite a shy little leveret (baby hare), but she loves flowers. On a sunny day you can see her running through the heather and gorse searching for some clover flowers to nibble on.
Mountain hares symbolise transformation and are believed to be connected to the fairy worlds. Some traditions viewed them as guides between the worlds. They are also sacred to the deities associated with the moon, fertility and the hunt: Cerridwen, Freya, and Diana. Like all mountain hares, Felicity can change from brown to white. She likes to accessorize accordingly.
