I’ve always made things and always been interested in art, I even got a degree in photography a few years ago. Over the years that creativity has wandered into painting, cooking, decorating and an alarming number of DIY projects. I’m happiest when I’m working on something, although what that something is tends to change fairly regularly.

These days, a lot of it happens in and around our old house in the Scottish Highlands. The house has become a bit of a creative project in itself, and living here has given me an entirely new place to explore. I’m endlessly curious about beautiful homes, good food, interesting people and things that have been made with care.
