Summer Winds A3

£40.00
The rugged coastline of western Scotland is legendary. From the shores of the Hebrides, the vast Atlantic Ocean seems endless. Here a woman sits and stares after a boat leaving the safety of sun drenched waters for the uncharted adventures waiting beyond. Their voyage either fated or aided by the God of the North Winds. This is a print of an oil pastel I created while a storm blew outside my bedroom window. I sat on the couch and watched the white horses form out on the loch and hoped that all boats were safely harboured. Women staring at the sea happens a lot in my work. A case of art imitating life. Print Only. Frame not Included.
